Meet Bayo

Bayo, founder of Crown Food Store, grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, where his parents ran a successful supermarket. From a young age, he was immersed in the family business, learning the ins and outs of running a grocery store. This experience instilled in him a deep appreciation for quality, customer service, and community connection. When he moved to the UK, Bayo realized how much he missed the authentic flavors of home. This longing, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit and rich experience, inspired him to create Crown Food Store, an online platform dedicated to bringing the best of African groceries to the UK. Bayo’s journey from Lagos to the UK is a testament to his dedication to preserving and sharing the rich culinary heritage of Africa.
